Chief Matthew Curry

Fire Chief Matthew Curry has served the town of Nottingham, New Hampshire with dedication, integrity, and courage. As the leader of the Nottingham Fire Rescue Department, he has answered every call, protecting lives and property, mentoring fellow firefighters, and building a department the whole community is proud of.

Recently, Chief Curry received a difficult diagnosis: lymphoma. It is treatable, and if you know Chief Curry, you know he is not the kind of man who backs down. But the road ahead is long, and the toll, physical, financial, and emotional, is real. Firefighters, neighbors, and friends of Nottingham are organizing to stand behind him and his family every step of the way.

Spaghetti Dinner

Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 4 to 8 PM at Nottingham Elementary School, 245 Stage Rd. $10 per plate. All proceeds go directly to the Curry family.

Multiple raffle prizes available at the event. Come out and try your luck while supporting a great cause.

Fight for Curry t-shirts and helmet stickers will be available for purchase at the event.

Firefighters, Neighbors & Friends

This is a community fundraising effort organized by members of the Nottingham Fire Rescue Department and the people of Nottingham who know and love Chief Curry. When one of our own needs us, we answer the call.

All money raised goes directly to Chief Curry and his family to help cover expenses during his treatment and recovery. This is a personal fundraising effort and contributions are not tax deductible.
